Welcome to enablemint by Dori - a refreshing space where sales leaders get real talk, actionable strategies, and a few minty-fresh takes on how to empower successful teams.  I'm Dorianne (but friends call me Dori), and after years of working with sales organizations of all shapes and sizes, I'm here to share what works, what doesn't, and what's next.  Let's make sales enablement the most impactful seat at the table - fueling team engagement and accelerating sales results.

Sales Strategy — More Than Just a Buzzword

“Sales strategy” gets thrown around a lot these days. Sounds good in theory — a structured plan to sell products or services, reach the right market, and hit revenue goals. Simple, right?

Then why do so many companies struggle to make it work?

After 30+ years in sales strategy across multiple industries — oil & gas, consumer-packaged goods, health & wellness, and consulting — I’ve seen the same two pitfalls over and over again:

  1. Unclear Value Proposition
    Companies can't clearly articulate what makes them different — or worse, leadership knows, but the sales team doesn’t.

  2. No Defined Sales Process
    There’s no clear, repeatable path for sales teams to follow — and no company-wide alignment behind it.
